Two leading brands have banded together for a unique collaboration - the creation of the PUMA MINI Cooper S and the MINI_motion 2-part driving shoe. Following the trend of blending brands, these two companies have blended their technologies to create two new distinctive products. The 2-part driving shoe is the latest addition to the MINI's new signature collection of apparel and products, the MINI_motion collection that aims to unite people's experiences inside and outside of their cars. The distinctive feature of the MINI_motion 2-part driving shoe is the removable interior bootie that provides enhanced comfort for long distance driving without compromising traction. PUMA not only styled the outside of the MINI Cooper S, it also integrated its innovative footwear technology into the interior of the car. The PUMA MINI uses air mesh footwear technology to give a new look and level of comfort to the standard leatherette or cloth upholstery of the car. Generally used in sport shoes to increase comfort and shock absorption, this shoe technology serves the same purpose in the MINI. The exterior of the car is distinctive featuring yellow tinted windows, a tonal PUMA formstrip and signature PUMA logo by the rear wheel arch. There is no mistaking this car on the road. Both the MINI_motion 2-part driving shoe and the PUMA MINI will make their debuts this fall. The PUMA MINI will be featured in PUMA flagship stores in New York, South Coast Plaza, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara and San Francisco.
