Rocky Road ice cream...NO... Rocky Road Silk! Phew, we just got though tax time, and it was a rocky road for all of us. But that gave us an idea, why don't we make a dressed up version of this All American classic. The original rocky road ice cream was made during the depression of the 1930’s, scrap nuts, scrap chocolate, scrap marshmallows, and well of course you guessed it, scrap ice cream. We can assure you that Alaska Silk Pie Co. is using "only" top notch ingredients, but after one silky bite you'll see, all the rich deep flavors of this hard time treat will clearly come through with a burst of flavors…

A base of chocolate ganache, marshmallows, and walnuts is the beginning of this incredible dessert. then topped with a layer of our dark chocolate silk and our own dark chocolate mousse. The mousse is Studded with marshmallows, chocolate chunks and roasted walnuts. Another layer of our dark chocolate silk is again topped with more marshmallows, walnuts and chocolate ganache. A little slice heaven and this decadent dessert will go a very long way.

This dessert will comfortably serve 12 to 16 servings.
