| | | | | | | Dear Phyllis, A great deal has been going on since our last newsletter. Phyllis had a friend and her daughter down from Alaska and her daughter Makena who is 10 got to spend a day in the bakery with Phyllis. She was so excited and what a little worker that Makenna was, she just may be our next bakery manager! Here are some really cute pictures of Makena's day in the bakery.
Let's see, what else has been going on since our last correspondence; Phyllis had an incredible dinner party at her house and are some pictures of some of the courses they served. Phyllis made Boeuf Bourguignon from Julia Childs cook book and from what I understand there was about 6 courses and a Grand Marnier Souffle made by Ann a good friend of hers. I think they had a really good time from looking at these pictures. |
 Friday November 18th is our 6th annual " Holiday Open House" here at the bakery from 4 PM until 8 PM. There will be hourly door prizes and " YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN". Our final two prizes of the evening will be a piece of jewelry from Goldmine Jewelers and an Alaska Silk Pie every other month for a year. Below are some of our Holiday desserts! We will have Bartholomew Winery here pouring their incredible wines, Middlefork Roasters with just the BEST coffee I've ever had the privilege of consuming, Cindi the owner of Goldmine Design Jewelers will be here with her incredible one of a kind custom gems, Keith from Yukon Jackson with his mouth watering chocolate's and caramel, and a new addition; Brown Sugar Bakery. Lillian is the owner and creates her delightful "Vegan" desserts right here at our bakery and we want all of you to try some of her delicious desserts. | We hope to see each and everyone of you at our 6th annual "Holiday Open House". We will also have all our desserts on sale at a 25% discount during the party.
