BKR International Mergers & Acquisitions Group, LLC has changed its name to
LEXBRIDGE International Mergers & Acquisitions Group, LLC. LEXBRIDGE International Mergers & Acquisitions Group, LLC (Lexbridge M&A) will continue, as it has for the last nine years, as BKR International’s Preferred Strategic Advisor for Mergers and Acquisitions. BKR International is a leading global association of independent accounting firms and business advisory firms representing expertise of more than 135 member firms with over 300 offices in over 70 countries around the world.
The name change was necessitated by changes in regulations governing the accounting profession world wide. The change was necessary for BKR International to comply with specific characteristics that define a network of accounting firms as opposed to an association of independent accounting firms.
Lexbridge International Mergers & Acquisitions Group, L.L.C. will continue to provide Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Strategic Partnering advisory services on a worldwide basis. Lexbridge M&A’s world headquarters are in Burlington, MA with affiliate offices throughout the world.
Lexbridge M&A fills the gap between larger Wall Street and other International investment banking companies who are not economically able to provide services to smaller or mid-sized projects and local companies who can provide only limited access to markets.
With regards to Mergers and Acquisitions, the Group will continue to provide the highest level of professional services in representing sellers of privately held mid-sized businesses. "The Group does not just act as an intermediary, but represents Sellers through the total management of the selling process from developing a sales strategy through a successful negotiation and close", states Morton L. Hodin, Managing Director of the Group. The Group also provides retained acquisition search services (including international searches) for strategic buyers.
In the area of Corporate Finance, the Group also is involved in the sourcing growth financing for established companies.
The Group also assists young companies with unique technologies and established mid-sized companies to develop alternative strategies for corporate growth through U.S. and International joint ventures and strategic partnerships. Joint Ventures for mid-sized, privately held companies can offer significant opportunities to compete effectively internationally by providing proper access to markets, local knowledge, local partners and appropriate financing."
