Blueprint Reading: General Print Reading Computer Based Training CBT course will help read and interpret Process and Instrumentation Drawings ? (P&IDs). It also includes process control variables and systems, instrumentation devices and drawing elements, and guidelines for reading P&ID prints.

Match print lines with their use.
Identify guidelines for placing dimensions on arcs, angles, fillets, rounds, and holes.
Match types of dimensioning with their features.
Identify key concepts related to sectioning.

This Blueprint Reading: General Print Reading Computer Based Training CBT course is aimed at individuals working with machinery, maintaining machinery, or involved in maintenance. It is directed at all those who need to develop marketable skills and a foundation for reading and interpreting drawings and for those who need to prepare technical and/or industrial sketches.
Training Objective
Unit 1: Blueprint Fundamentals 1 hour
Identify sections of a title block.
Identify characteristics of an orthographic projection.
Match print lines with their use.
Perform additions and subtractions with fractions and decimal numbers.
Perform arithmetic on angles.
Convert English units of measurement to the Metric system.
Unit 2: Dimensioning and Sectioning 1 hour
Identify guidelines for placing dimensions on arcs, angles, fillets, rounds, and holes.
Match types of dimensioning with their features.
Identify key concepts related to sectioning.
Match types of sectional views with their characteristics.
Unit 3: Tolerancing 1.5 hours
Identify key concepts related to tolerancing.
Match types of tolerancing with their characteristics.
