Raphael J. d'Angelo, M.D. offers in depth courses in Aromatic Medicine - Medical Aromatherapy.

The Aromatic Medicine - Level One Course takes the student from the basics of essential oil safety and chemistry all the way up to the many different medical uses of essential oils for yourself and your family. You will receive the text, "Natural Home Health Care using Essential Oils" by Dr. Daniel Penoel and Rose-Marie Penoel, the textbook "Fundamentals of Aromatic Medicine", by Dr. Raphael d'Angelo, a Level One workbook, an attractive heavy cloth bag containing 18 therapeutic grade essential oils and a carrier oil.

We offer this course in Colorado 3 times year. Its a 6 week course, meeting for 2 hours every Tuesday evening from 6:45 - 8:45pm

Sept 1st - Oct. 6, 2009

The Aromatic Medicine Level One course is also offered as a distance learning experience featuring all of the above plus your choice of audio cassettes or CD's.


The Aromatic Medicine - Level Two Course builds upon the knowledge base of Level One with the goal of certification as a Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner. On completion of the two courses, you will have completed a minimum of 200 study hours. This course is offered over the weekend, Friday evening 6:30 - 9:00, Sat 9:00 - 5:00 Sunday 10:00 - 4:00 in the Denver metro area. June 26th, 27th, 28th, 2009

All coursework is certified by the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA).
Completion of both courses will enable a student to sit for the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) exam which identifies you as a Registered Aromatherapist (RA).
