| About Us OUR MISSION Simply to be the best in the eyes of our clients, employees, and community through our commitment to safety, quality and our Team approach to success. HISTORY: Knights Marine & Industrial Services, Incorporated was founded by Raymond H., Brian K. and David E. Knight in 1999. Though a relatively new corporation, it is actually a continuance of past generations. Elmer Jefferson Knight (Grandfather 1904-1992), believed that faith in God, Honesty, Respect and Hard Work would always result in good things, instilled these values into his son Elmer Harold Knight (Father). Harold Knight co-founded a similar marine firm in 1976 and successfully operated it until his retirement in 1999. During these years the third generation (Randy, Brian, David) were involved in daily operations from hands on welding, estimating, quality control, to contract negotiations and employee benefits. With the fourth generation (Jeff, Jacob, Drew) beginning their apprenticeship, we are thankful and excited to be able to offer them the same opportunities we have enjoyed.
