The Valley of Fire is Nevada’s oldest state park, dedicated in 1935. It is located in the Mojave Desert of Southern Nevada, only 50 miles northeast of Las  Vegas. The rough floor and jagged walls of the park contain brilliant formations of eroded sandstone and sand dunes more than 150 years old. These features, which are the centerpiece of the park’s attractions, often appear to be on fire when reflecting the sun’s rays. The Valley of Fire has become one of the most popular destinations for outdoor weddings. In a Valley of Fire wedding, you are picked up at your hotel and taken to the Marriage License Bureau. After receiving your marriage license it is a short 45 minute drive in your private limousine to one of the most beautiful natural preservation areas in the west. As you see in the pictures you are surrounded by red rock formations that have formed over thousands of years. After the wedding is performed, the photographer spends time with you taking photos in different scenic locations. After you have finished, you are then returned via limousine to your hotel. |
