23rd National Bonsai Convention. It will be our 40th anniversary as well as celebrating our special guest for the weekend, Salvatore Liporace and our home grown bonsai artists together with a few surprises to make it a memorable event.
The convention will be held at the Bankstown Sports Club, Bankstown, Sydney. There will be vendors from our prominent bonsai nurseries, a formal bonsai display which is also open to the general public, a welcoming cocktail party on the Friday night, the convention is on the Saturday and Sunday, with structured workshops by Salvatore Liporace and Grant Bowie on the Monday.

BCI 2010 will be held in Tianjin, China (near Beijing). To assist overseas travelers, BCI and hosts have arranged a 12 day VIP tour of China which departs 30 September and concludes on 12 October. The itinerary includes Guangzhou, Chencun (Foshan), Nanjing, Yixing, Yangzhou, Beijing, and Tianjin with many garden, penjing and pottery sites as well as must see Chinese history and culture.
