If you are looking for a well built, sweet, small herd sire, then look no more. Captain is 3 years old and is a proven jack with 2 foals confirmed on the way. Captain is 30.25 inches tall. He has great conformation. A beautiful "dishy" head, broad between the eyes and short in length. He has great width in both the front and rear legs. A good full butt and a really broad chest. His body is short in length. Great bite. Captain has a nice pedigree (see below). Captain is sired by 1/2 Pint Scooter who has sired some really nice donkeys, including a top producing jennet (Prissy) at Quarter Moon Ranch. Prissy is the dam of one of our previous herd sires, Quarter Moon Zip Code. (See Prissy and Zip below) You will not find a small, proven, trained jack built like this anywhere around. And best of all, Captain is a very sweet and calm jack, gentle on the girls and will accept foals in the pasture. Captain is show trained and will trot on command. It has been a very hard decision for us to sell Captain. We have had him since he was 6 months old, but most of our Jennets have been temporarily placed with friends while my mom battles life threantening cancer and Captain is just too good not to be using.
