Ron graduated with a Finance Degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) and has completed graduate work toward a Masters degree.
Ron spent 33 years in practice as a Certified Public Accountant, beginning his accounting career with Price Waterhouse & Co. in Washington, DC and completed his career in the CPA field as a partner of a regional CPA firm serving clients from California to Maine to Florida. During His CPA career, Ron earned the additional accreditation of Certified Valuation Analysts, of Accredited Estate Planner and other non-related accreditations. In public service, Ron earned honors such as Rotarian of the Year, Kiwanis Distinguished Service Award, being listed in the National Register of Who's Who, and is an Honored Member of Lexington Who's Who.
Ron began mentoring people early in his career and has continued his mentoring skills for 38 years in classrooms and pulpits within the USA and Internationally. Since leaving the CPA field, he is now having more fun than in the past 38 years, mentoring and trading the Forex with the ProAct TradersTM mentoring program. He mentors on how to find the trade, how to protect the margin and how to maximize the profit. Ron conducts seminars utilizing the simple SSDD method: See it, Say it, Draw it and Do it. Ron's mentoring goal is to have the new trader learn the Forex, understand the "WHY" of the moves in the Forex and become a successful trader in the shortest amount of time. This was demonstrated most recently by one of Ron's mentored traders starting from not knowing how to operate a computer to making 62 trades in a row approximately one month later.
Ron has executed in excess of 500 trades in a row without a loss over a 6 months period.
Mentoring sessions, both individually and in groups, are available by the Star Forex Group in Roanoke, VA, within the USA and worldwide, (Have Computer - Will Travel). Ron has committed himself to helping God's Children create a steady flow of income by acquiring the necessary trading skills in the Forex using their own computers from anywhere in the world. Ron has mentored doctors, tradesmen, accountants, business owners, lawyers, financial advisors, stock brokers, mutual fund brokers, ministers, teachers, college professors, investors, home makers, students, salesmen, farmers, bus drivers, care givers, and retired persons as well as new college graduates.
